Biography
William Igbokwe is an award-winning actor, lawyer, model, and screenwriter of Nigerian-American descent born and raised in Jacksonville, Texas. William completed his undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin in 2012 before returning to Jacksonville, Texas to run for mayor in 2013. Shortly after running for office, William attended Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana where he received a law degree in 2017. In 2018, William relocated to Portland, Oregon to practice law and begin his career as an actor and filmmaker.
Based primarily in Portland, William has worked on multiple film and television projects including Netflix’s Trinkets, and Disney’s Timmy Failure. William has also appeared in commercials for Labatt Blue, Cellular One, Oregon Health Insurance Market Place, Pearson Education, Lexus and Adobe Reader. Alongside acting, William has also co-directed two independent films, written a feature length screenplay, and is currently in pre-production for his debut short-length film Letters From Albina.
William is currently represented by Q6 Model and Artist Management and splits his time between Portland, Oregon, Austin, Texas, and Los Angeles, California.
